Motorcycle Repair: Honda Nighthawk 750 throttle cable replacement, honda nighthawk 750, throttle cables

I am replacing my (a) and (b) throttle cables and I can't seem to hook the two ends to the throttle lever beneath the carb. I can't get my hands into that tight space to hook them up. Do I need to remove the fuel tank, and if so how do I go about doing that?

Hi Matthew,

I don't know which model year you have.

Removing the tank helps. On most models, the tank is bolted to the frame lower front and rear under seat.

I recommend that you get a copy of the Service Manual and learn about such procedures. Find manuals at the local library and at this website:
