Motorcycle Repair: first time cleaning carb, xr200, bk

ok well this is my first time cleaning a carb and im sixteen so i dnt kno to much about the machanical features on my xr200 but i got the carb cleaned that was a breeze then once i got everything back together and discovered the throttle isnt working right i kno it has something to do with the spring and float needle but cant figure it out.

chk the top of the carb unscrew the big round cap then rest the carb needle valev there is a certain way it goes back in look for a small notch on the silver cylinder then line it bk up with the little brass fitting iside the hole of the top of the carb .if you need help let me know ok.
