-----Question-----
We own a '91 SoftTail 'Fatboy'.
After having the bike serviced we went for a ride and on stopping, noticed oil leaking from the crankcase breather.  We had good oil pressure until my partner (who was trying to solve the issue) removed the check valve ball.  We now have no oil pressure at all and are unsure as to what to do next!
We have changed the oil, fitted a oil pressure gauge, but the problem is still there.
Please help us to get back on the road where we belong!
Cheers,
Megan.
-----Answer-----
Did he put the check ball valve back in and correctly? What does the oil pressure gage show?
Mike

Hi Again Mike.
Sorry about that-I should have been clearer!
Yes, my partner put the check valve ball and spring back in.
After replacing the oil, the pressure gauge showed zero-no oil pressure at all!
Cheers,
Megan.

Answer
removing the check valve and putting it back shouldnt make you lose oil pressure. Check to make sure you have oil coming from the oil line to pump. If you do then what you need to do is remove the cover of the oil pump and check to make sure you dont have a brokem keyway
Good luck and happy riding
Mike
