Motorcycle Repair: 1981 Suzuki Clutch, clutch cable, cluch

I have a new clutch and clutch cable and the cluch will not disengage.  Any suggestions?

Hi Mike.
 If all that you did was to replace the cable, then make sure that the routing of the cable is correct, next make sure that you do not have the cable adjusted too tight.  Most bikes from that period are adjusted at both ends.  If the adjustment is good at the top, then the bottom needs to be let out till the clutch engages normally.  Also make sure that the cable is seated properly at both ends.
