Motorcycle Repair: 1965 Honda 305 Scrambler, honda 250, valve clearances

I have a 1965 Honda 305 Scrambler.  I want to adjust the valves.  I have a manual for a 1965 Honda 250 Scrambler.  Are the valve settings defined in the 250 manual the same for the 305?  What are the valve settings for the 305 Scrambler?

Bob, I have extensive information on your bike, available on CDROM. The main difference between the 250 and the 305 is the pistons/rings, cylinders, cylinder head and carburetors. The mechanical parts are all about the same and the valve clearances are .004" on both models.
