Motorcycle Repair: remove outer fairing 1990 flt, brake light switch, happy thanksgiving

what bolts have to be removed to remove the outer fairing. does the head light have to be removed to get to bolts.also is brake light relay inside the fairing. thanks

To remove the outer fairing you have to remove the bolts for the windshield, remove the headlight bracket and inside you will see a nut on each side of the fairing
On the brake light, are you taking about the brake light switch?
