Motorcycle Repair: Part2: dishonest Mechanic, wet weather, initial thoughts

Mitch, thank you for responding so quickly.

Does your question of "Did she sign for the work" relate to a tune up/inspection? The reason that I am asking is the website CLEARLY states that they will give a Wet Weather inspection and give recommendations for free.  Does'nt it sound a bit odd that the technician didn't bother to probe and ask as to why the bike was being brought in since it is still relativley NEW?  I will ask my girlfriend for greater detail but what are your initial thoughts on this whole situation?  Is's a bit shadey huh?

at my shop i have to have a work order signed by the owner that is louisiana's law.also just cause she paid doesnt mean you have no recourse against the shop,and also did she tell them what problems that the bike was giving ,does the bill say r/r remove and replace anything if so they should have asked for authorization, not just sign here mam on yur credit card.ok.hope this helps bud.
