Motorcycle Repair: mufflers, dyna jet, straight shots

2006 sporster XL1200L ,mufflers seem to quite. i'm not looking for performance , just want to be heard. i'm not sure if i should buy screamin eagle slip ons or vance/hines straight shots hs slip ons. will i have to rejet the carb or change the air intake?

Any time you make changes you should check the jetting ont he bike. First, check other bikes to find the sound you are looking for, so you get the right pipes. I would also go with a high flow air filter kit. To make the carb changes you need get a Dyna-jet kit for your bike.
