Motorcycle Repair: Air Filter, honda nx650, k n filters

Please could you let me know the difference between air filter pattern and air filter K and N type. I have just ordered the K and N type for my Honda NX650 T (Dominator) but it looks big.

Hi Bashir,

The new filter may be different shape and design. It depends upon the type of filter ordered; stock replacement or race filter.

A stock replacement filter utilizes the stock airbox. A race filter replaces the airbox in most applications.
