Motorcycle Repair: vtz250, ebay australia, bike bandit

hi mark, hope you and your family are well.
                                            i have sourced a reg/rec from ebay (australia)of a vt250f integra(88)the part is identical, so i will buy it, my question is if the reg is the same as the vtz would the cdi unit be the same?, i cannot find one at the moment so i cannot confirm if it is the same buy looking at a pic or any text, so i have come back to you as you might know more about the VT250f integra.

Hi Kraig,

I have no way of comparing CDI's other than part numbers. I only have access to U.S. bound part numbers.

You can try Bike Bandit and compare numbers. www.bikebandit.com

The ignition mapping may be very similar between the two models.
