-----Question-----
hey mike
i had the oil plug that was blowing out question, now i have more to that. I did order a new dipstick but in the course of that I found out other things, the dealer was mentioning that since I just had the head gaskets replaced it could be that something didnt seat correctly? Also the gent who did the work said it could be the oil lines rotting from the inside out or the breather gear. I know when I dumped the oil after all this it has massive amounts of air bubbles. Whats your thoughts?  Thanks Jim

I forgot to ask, did they have the breather gear out and also did they mess with the oil lines?
Mike

Answer
Since they didnt mess with the oil lines or breather gear then that cant be the problem.
Start the bike and let it warm up. Remove the dipstick and put your hand over it. See if you have pressure building up. You should be able to feel it on your hand. If not then the dipstick is the problem. If you do then they did somthing wrong when they worked on it. Seating of gaskets would not cause the problem.
Good luck and happy riding
