Motorcycle Repair: cb750 1979, battery charges, alternator

Question
I recently got a CB750 running and I am very happy with it until this weekend.  I took it for a ride for about 45 minutes and the battery completely died.  As the battery got very weak, the engine started to run rough at high rpms and eventually the engine died leaving me stranded.

The alternator shows charging and the battery charges on a charger and checks out good.  Is there a issue that this model seems to have a problem, or should I be looking for a short that shows up when the engine gets warm?

you might want to chk the recifire when the engine warms up they usaually go out, then after it cools down bike will start up again.let me know if you need more info, im here o,k. P,S please leave feedback on my answer you may also nominate if you choose to ok.
