Motorcycle Repair: New Bike Owner, cock pit, fuel filter

I have a 87 Suzuki KZ305 and it ran great until today...it started puttering badly...stalling out when you apply clutch to downshift.  It feels like half power or a cylinder would be out in a car or something.  Any suggestions?

hello lonnie you might want to check yur fuel filter and also chk yur cock-pit to see it the reserve and on  dial on the tank is working. then drain on of the carb s to see which one is not recieving enough fuel.try this and let me know o/k
