Motorcycle Repair: Turbo my z1000?, z1000, 23 years

Hi I have kawasaki z1000j3 (1983) which i was told would be easy to add a turbo to. The guy who told me this didn't instill a huge amount of confidence, but i have no idea whether this is possible or even where to look to find the parts/information. I'm going to give the bike an engine rebuild soon and wondered if this would be a good time to add a turbo?

on the turbo part, i have been working on bikes for over 23 years , and still untill this date i have never had confidence in trying to modify a turbo on an engine it can be done, but can also be a headache and prove to be very costly when turbo starts to act up.hope this answer help you .good luck and keep it factory you will ride longer.less trouble .
