Motorcycle Repair: clutch adjust 1984 Yamaha venture, yamaha venture, clutch

Question
I bought a Venture 1200 a few months back.  When trying to shift the clutch is weak and I almost have to stomp the pedal to get it in gear.  Then bike will move a little and sometimes die when sitting still with the brake engaged because the clutch is so weak.  What adjustments can I make?

try adjusting the ckutch on the bike sounds like clutch is not completely dis-engaugeing  or engaugfing,sounds minor to me , since you mentioned how its hard to put in gear that a sign of clutch out of adjustment. if you need any more info let me know ok. im here 24 /7 .good luck. ok
