Questionneed to know what it needs for the engine to run. It's a 1984 Yamaha 180 riva (scooter). where do I connect the cdi box? do I need to bypass anything since I only have the engine, What else do I need other than a cdi box? wire colors.

damian you will need carburator,ign, coil,fuel lines if its electric start starter etc. please can you send me a little bit more info i guarantee you you will be riding soon, P.s please dont forget to leave feed back om my answer ok. but i will take all neccessary strps to help you get motor running ok.

i did some research for u the best place to get the info u need is called moped riders association they have wiring diagrams and troubleshooting guides to help you.i hope this helps u it is a good sight i studied it pretty good good info u dont have to purchase .hope this helps you ok if not let me know.ok.
