Motorcycle Repair: Starter relay for indian chief, screw driver, starter relay

Question
I am unable to turnover my 2000 Indian Chief. I believe its my starter relay. Is there a way to verify its my relay prior to purchasing a new one and where can the relay be found on this motorcycle. I purchased this motorcycle just a few weeks ago and still learning about it.
Thanks

Answer
first thanks for using all experts for answering your question.

The relay on an indian should be under the seat, if you try starting and hear a clicking noise go to the starter cylenoid and take a screw driver touch both terminals at the same time with key on if bike turns over could also be a solenoid problem . back to the relay it should be under the seat near wiring harness. some are near the battery.it is usually a little black square plug in type.good luck and keep ridin.
