Motorcycle Repair: 1995 Vmax motorcycle starting problems, vmax motorcycle, check battery

HI, today I waas going to start up my motorcycle after work (1995 Vmax 1185cc) I was starting the engine, and it turned over for about 5 sec...then nothing, No light neutral, and no headlight. I immediatly thought it was a fuze...but after checking them all they appear fine. The thing is I have No electrical activity and it all happoned from starting the bike. Can something in a starter cause a complete OPEN circuit to the bike...many thanks in advance

Hi Dan,

I suspect the main fuse is blown.

If you have verified all fuses to be in good working condition, check battery cable connections and electrical connectors for loose or disconnections.

It's possible for the ignition switch or other related circuit components to have become defective and open the circuit. You'll have to inspect all conductors and switches for proper operation.
