Motorcycle Repair: throttle cable on 70 mini trail 50, little butterfly, honda shop

honda shop hjere wants 70 bucks hour to help me im just working guy and need help badly could u tell me ,draw ,or forward me how throttle cable hooks up at handle bars and carburator on 19 70 mini trail 50 im learning and this thing is kicking my but thought maybe u would have diagram

sign up, log in, choose HONDA, then Z50A and 1976 will do.
Go to the HANDLEBAR TOP BRIDGE CABLE selection and there you are.

Maybe you are fighting the set screw at the bottom of the throttle drum...?

When you put the cable into the carburetor, you have to put on the carb top, then the spring. Compress the spring with your fingers to expose the cable end, which you then have to fit into the carb slide slot. Once in place, release the spring and it will pull the parts together.
Make sure that you put the little butterfly clip down inside the slide to keep the needle/clip in place, first.
