Hello,
I am in need of a gas tank for a 1982 Hondamatic CM 450. It has a drip leak in the tank. I have tried to repair it but it still leaks. Please let me know how to fix it or locate a place where I can buy one.

Dave, what did you use to attempt the repair with?  Yamaha makes good tank sealer system products. You have to completely clean the tank, using the cleaning products, then put the sealer inside and let it set up for about 24 hours.  

Some tiny leaks can be sealed with a soldering iron and lead solder...  NO FLAMES, though!

I checked my usual sources and didn't see anything for that machine. I think that the tank from the CM400 series machines are the same. If you find an E model, it holds more fuel than the C version.

Start checking with salvage yards in your area and/or ask them for any yards that are on a national/statewide hot line.
