Motorcycle Repair: oil capacity in the crank case of a RM-80 suzuki dirt bike, oil filler cap, suzuki dirt bike

    My husband is in the garage finishing a repair to my 1999 RM-80 Suzuki dirt bike, and he needs to know the oil capacity in the crank case.

I believe your 1999 rm80 ( I had a 1982 when I was 10, but i'm just reminiscing) has a check screw.

If it doesn't have a little sight window on the side of the motor (if it does, fill the oil until it is half way on the window), then it has a check screw, this will be a lonely little screw somewhere near the oil filler cap.  Take the screw out and slowly add oil until it pours out of that screw (with the bike upright)
