Motorcycle Repair: Valve Job 1972 Cl175 Honda, honda bike, leak down test

Bike runs fine cold then when warmed up runs rough and fouls right spark plug. Carbs cleand and OK. Valves have been cleaned and no evidence of being bent, seat well. Thinking that valve might warp when warm? weride@stratomail.com

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Mike,

It's possible for the valve to leak after reaching operating temperatures.

Check and adjust valve clearances and then perform a compression test and leak-down test with warm engine.
