Motorcycle Repair: RISERS FOR CUSTOM BARS, triple trees, custom bars

BOUGHT AN 05 NIGHTTRAIN USED WHICH HAS CHOPPER INC WHISKEY BARS ON IT. LOOKS LIKE HE USED THE STOCK 6" RISERS BUT THE THROTTLE/IDLE CABLE DOES'NT CLEAR THE TANK. IT JUST BARELY HITS THE TANK BEFORE THE FUEL CAP.WONDERING IF AN 8" RISER WOULD CORRECT THIS AND IF ANY CABLES WOULD HAVE TO BE CHANGED.ALSO DO YOU KNOW THE BOLT SIZE FOR THESE STOCK RISERS? OPINIONS OR OTHER OPTIONS WOULD ALSO BE GREATLY APPRECIATED.

If you put taller riders on you will probably have to add extended cables. What you need to do is some measuring to be sure.
If you are talking about the bolts that hold them on to the triple trees it should be 3/4 inch
