Motorcycle Repair: Crankcase Breathing, breathing tube, crankcase

I have a 91 FXLR with a S&S Carb, it has been sitting for approximately 1 year, changed the gas and when I went to start the bike oil is coming from the Crankcase Breathing tube and saturating the fliter and poring out onto the bike, can you help me, thanks?

Nothing is wrong. When a harley sits for a long time like that, oil will weep down into the bottom end.When you started the bike the oil pump couldnt pump it fast enough, so it came oout the breather. One it stops coming out it will be ok. Every spring I get about 50 phone calls about that from bikes sitting all winter
