Motorcycle Repair: Help on primary, flt tourglide, gasket

I have a 1987 FLT Tourglide.  I need to pull off my outer primary and reseal it due to leaking.  Could you please tell me the steps needed to remove,  reseal and remount.

take the bolts out and pull the primary off. remove the old gasket and install the new one. Install the primary cover and install the bolts. If you are using a gasket that has silcone beading on it you dont need anything on it. If you are using a plan gasket use some gasket sealer on it.
