Suzki VL 1500 LC 2003 Model, Bike is running very rich using excessive fuel
Have changed, air filter to KnN filter, new plugs, adjusted needle settings to reduce fuel flow,Road tested bike plugs burning a good colour,following day rode bike for 150Klm ride at first fuel consumption was good first 50Ks after this fuel consumption increased dramatically.
ps. should average about 14.5 kpl currently turning 11.4 kpl 23,000ks original

In order 4 me to answer your question u r going to have to type correctly and b as specific as possible.  Is it fuel inj. or carbed?  It ran rich and this caused u to take the measures of a new filter, plugs, needle adjustments?  If so, these r huge mistakes to do for a rich condition.  These actions only need taken if modifications caused the rich condition.  A stock bike running lean has a problem, not a performance issue.  Let me know.
