Motorcycle Repair: speedometer problems, electronic speedo, speedos

my speedometer on my 92 fatboy suddenly stopped working a couple of days ago, everything else seems to be running smoothly, is there a fuse that may need to be replaced? before i would have to take it to my nearest dealer

I cant seem to remember when harley started using electronic speedos so I will tell you both.
If you have a electronic speedo you will ahve to take it in and have it tested.
If you have a mechanical speedo, the either the cable or the drive is broken.
