Motorcycle Repair: fxr rocker box gasket change, rocker boxes, fxrs

I have a 1988 FXRS with a pretty good leak around the rocker boxes. I was going to attempt this myself but was told I would need to drop the  motor mounts. I had planned to pull the tank, will this give me enough from room to reach all the bolts or will I need more room. Your help would be GREATLY appreciated.

You will need to pull the tank to get to them. Depending on the room you have to work with you might have to remove the foward mount, but its not a big problem to do that. Once you have it loose, pry up on the motor with a big screwdriver and it will slide out
