Question
My 1980 honda cb750 custom recently broke down, I come to finde out that two of my spark plugs had worn out and that that was the problem. But before i found this out of my own doing my nabure who claims to now much about bikes tride to look at it. Big mistake! Now I have replaced the spark plugs and she fires up grate, but he messed around with the idel screw on the carbs and now the bike dose not idel when choke is in ind when its out it idels inbetween 3 to 4 grand. I tride to mess with it my self to ree set it but dont know what i am doining and am having no look with it can you help me with the problem?  Thanks chris...

Answer
Hi Chris,

Using the choke increases engine spped (idle speed). If the engine will not idle, adjust the idle screw in until engine idles around 1,000 rpm.

If adjusting the idle screw has no effect or negative effects, check carburetor synchronization.
