Motorcycle Repair: 88 ninja zx750R carb prob, free email servers, kawasaki ninja

Question
I recently bought a 1988 kawasaki ninja zx750R.  It was in storage for a year prior to my purchase and finally when i got it started its very rough and sounds uneven.

I removed the carburetor to perform a rebuild and noticed that the pilot screws were exposed.  From what i am told, these screws were preset and sealed, therefore someone had tampered with them. I am also told that to adjust the pilot screws the engine should be running.  My question is, knowing that its very tight, is there a special tool to tune the screws?  How do i know when the adjustments are right?

Any knowledge will help me.  Any suggestions?  Also do you know where they have a vaccuum diagram available?

Answer
Hi Quang Do,

I can help you. I return tech information files by email. There was no email address with your question as requested and explained in my instructions.

Pilot screws are covered with tamper plugs. As the engine wears or as tuning requires, it may become necessary to remove these plugs for adjustments.

If you want the tech files, reply with an email address. It should be known that free email servers such as Yahoo and Hotmail does not receive these large tech files well, if at all in some cases.

Respectfully,
