Motorcycle Repair: bike problems, money email, bike problems

im having problems with my 1999 Kawasaki KX125...i was riding on a trail when it started slowing down by itself while i was holding the gas on pretty good...the sparkplug is fine,the gas flow is fine, the carburetor is clean, and the filter is clean...i also noticed the intake was cracked a bit...what im tryin to say is that i have absolutly no idea whats up with my bike...its my first bike and its used and ive only had it for 2 weeks...if i can fix it myself that would help me learn and will cost less money...email address again is mike_420_parker@hotmail.com i appreciate any help i can get

Hi Michael,

I suggest that you get a copy of the Service Manual. I recommend the Kawasaki manual to other brands. You get what you pay for.

The manual has illustrated procedures and will pay for itself with the first work you perform.

If all parts are fine as described, look for a loose or defective electrical wire of connector.
