Motorcycle Repair: Honda CG125 Repair, honda cg125, google search

Hi there. I just got an old 2nd hand 1977 Honda CG125 recently, and the headlight's missing a bulb, but I'm not sure what kind of bulb would be used for this, any ideas?
Also, the speedo doesnt run- the rev-counter seems to work but not the speedo. Any guesses as to what could possibly cause this?

Hi Matt,

I'm not familiar with this model, but I suspect the speedometer drive cable is broken or missing.

You may try a Honda dealer to replace the headlight bulb and speedo cable, but I doubt they'll stock such obsolete parts.

I've seen websites dedicated to vintage MC's with parts that are available. Perform a Google search using various keywords and see check into the results.

Expert Bill Silver would be the person to ask. He knows these vintage MC's well.
