Motorcycle Repair: 2002 Dyna Glide slip on mufflers, muffler clamps, hd shop

Question
My friend has a 2002 Dyna Wide Glide and ordered a set of Screaming Eagle mufflers from a local HD shop.  He got home and opened the box but there was no set of instructions included.  He is not mechnically inclinded and I am not familiar with his stock exhaust set up or there to help him change the mufflers.

He says the only thing holding the old or new mufflers on are the individual muffler clamps on the head pipes.  He says the mufflers have a bracket that bolts to each muffler and keeps them together as one unit.  There were no additional brackets or anything else in the kit.

He went riding and the mufflers are starting to get loose.

Is this all there is or does he just have to torgue the muffler clamps on really tight?

Thanks, Tom

P.S.  Do you happen to have a set of instructions you could sent me?

Answer
Sorry, but I dot have any instructions. There should have been some in the box with the mufflers. There ahould be an attachment point on the mufflers or they will get loose. Check with the shop you bought from for some directions. Sounds like you are missing some parts
Good luck and happy riding
Mike
