Motorcycle Repair: parts for old hondas, clutch cables, honda cb360t

Question
Hi Chris,
I have a 1976 Honda CB360T.  And I am having trouble finding parts... clutch cables and  batteries are no problem, but now i need a new generator rotor and matching flat screws and for the life of me can't find anyone that has it new or used for this (apparently) uncommon model.  Before this I never rode anything older than a '99, and could get everything through my local dealer.  Can you provide some resources in Canada to new and used parts for this bike?  (US ok too ;)
Thanks,
Robert

Answer
Hi Robert.

I don't know any suppliers of parts for older bikes, but you should look online for Honda motorcycle groups and forums.  There are a quite a few places out there.  Start with the following;

http://hrca.honda.com/

http://www.honda.com/ (corporate headquarters in U.S.)

http://www.bikersmag.com/

http://www.totalmotorcycle.com/welcome.htm

Those are a few out of my favorites file.  Start there and see what you can find.

Good luck and ride safe.
