Motorcycle Repair: hondacb360 1975, odd coincidence, chain tension

  hello chris                                   I just bought a 1975 honda cb360 installed new points and plugs timed the points according to the manual when i read the manual further it said to adjust the cam chain after i adjusted it could not get it to fire up. could it have jumped time ? how can you retime if so thank you  henry

Hi Henry.

I'm afraid that you will have to do the timing and valves all over again, but make sure of the cam chain tension first.

If that doesn't fix the problem, then there is the possibility of something else in the ignition circuit going wrong.  Odd coincidence, but stranger things have happened.
