Motorcycle Repair: clutch sticking, kawasaki kx100, clutch pack

Question
Hi I bought a used 2005 Kawasaki kx100 motorcycle and when I start it up it runs ok but when I pull the clutch and shift down into first gear it quits.I opended up the clutch, the first time it happened ,and the clutch plates were sticking so I put new gear oil in it and it worked for a couple of days but now it quits again. I also tried a justing it but that didnt work at all.so could you tell me how to fix it?

Answer
Luke, i would check the clutch for warped metal discs then see if the fibers are beyond the service limit. a good manual will give you all the specs on the clutch and make sure you have them stacked right. from the symptoms i think a clutch pack replacement is in order
