Motorcycle Repair: rejetting 05 883, air fuel mixture, intermediate jet

yes it's popping back through the carb, the front plug is wet on the threads and black and sooty,the rear plug has light soot can still see white ceramic,again this is doing this after going back to stock. thank you very much for your help

Question -
I recenctly rejeted my carb using a 180 main and 45 primary jet. The bike came with 175 main and 42 primary. I also added cycle shack drag pipes,and hyper charger air cleaner.The bike idles fine but when I go to take off it stumbles and back fires . I can get going but it acts like it is getting to much air or running out of fuel, so I taped off the front and the bottom of the air cleaner leaving only an inch or so of opening the bike ran better still had a little stumble but that could be worked out with mix screw. So I went bake to stock jets and air cleaner and bike is still stumbling and back fireing.

Is it backfiring throught he air cleaner? Pull your spark plugs and let me know what color they are

The black sooty plugs means you are running rich. So you need to go smaller on the intermediate jet. The air/fuel mixture screw is only for idle. Leave the main jet alone until you get the intermediate jet set.
The best solution I have found is adding a Dyna-jet kit. It will get the jetting right and give you more throttle responce.
