Motorcycle Repair: Hydraulic Clutch 1993 Honda Shadow 1100, hydraulic clutch, wolf wolf

Question
I'm working on my uncle's shadow. Tried everything by the book, replaced the master cylinder and the hydraulic clutch still doesn't work. Bled the air out the clutch and it still doesn't build any pressure. Any help would be greatly appriciated.
Thanks!

Answer
Wolf, the most missed step on replacing a master cylinder is bench bleeding it. and sometimes the master cyclinder can be a bear to get the air out of it. the thing to try and i dont know what tools you have to work with but, take a pair of pliers with a towell to cover up the sharp points and pinch off the line a few inches past the master cylinder. if it is good and hard, cant squeeze the lever the master cylinder is bled and good. if it goes to the bars thats where the problem is. if it passes that test then i would take a good look at the hose and see if it swells somewhere when apply the lever. the hose could be bad and swelling taking away the pressure. slave cylinders usually arent bad until they leak so i think your ok there. hope this helps and let me know.
