Motorcycle Repair: front forks, flh, bearing

Question
My front forks on my 81 flh are really sloppy I wanted to now
how much oil is sopposed to be in my forks and if that is not it
then what should I be looking for

Check your bearing also. What you need to do is get the front wheel off the ground and pull on the wheel inline with the bike. Any play and the neck bearing is probably bad with that old of a bike.
Your forks should hold 7 3/4 oz per fork
