Motorcycle Repair: timing marks, yamaha xs1100, cam gears

weres the timing marks i think the top ones are the lines on cam gears and T on the crank i'm a auto tech it might be different than a car thanks

Hi Monte.

It is just like a car in that respect.  It all goes back to the "an engine is an engine" philosophy.  Go through the repair manual for the specifics, but you will find that the same type of thing on a car for the timing is almost identical on a bike.
