Motorcycle Repair: Neutral safety switch, neutral safety switch, honda 400cc

I am havinfg problems with NSS on a honda 400cc. I am in China so gettting a part is almost out of the question. Is it ok to bypass the switch? any idea where is is normally located?

The neutral safety switch can be bypassed, but it is in the engine.

It is also not recommended to bypass that switch if it can be avoided.  It's exact location is not known to me, but you should be able to order the part online.

You will want to order a repair manual online; www.repairmanuals.com usually has almost every repair manual on the market.
