Question -Yes there are two filments.  I just tested the lights again and now the blinkers will not flash.  The front headlight and blinker lights are on but no flashing.   I think I might have messed up the computer board.  The fuses looked okay.  Thanks for your time on this.

The lights could work either way with me and the lights had one white wire and then another wire not attacted to a gaged wire coming out of these small l.e.d. type of lights.  The brake does work and the way I wired it also made the bullet lights work, the problem seems to be that the
"brighter brake" light when applied doesn't come on even though the light is on.  The "brghter brake" light still didn't come on after after I disconneted the bullet lights.-------------------------

Hello Mike

02 Dyna Lowrider  I was trying to put some aftermarket small bullet lights on after I washed the bike.  I turned it on & and all the lights worked, but when you step on the brake or pull the front brake it doesn't get brighter.  The lights are still on but no "brake" light. I can't tell if something got wet or I blew a fuse or by installing the extra lights something shorted out.
It really seems to be coming from the "brake" part of the system.  What do you think?  Oh yeah. I spliced into the red orange line (pos) and the blue green line (neg?.  It is the cable going to the light itself.

Couple of questions. These bullet lights, are you wanting them to work with brake light too? Are they single filment bulbs or two filment bulbs? Does your brake light work?

You didnt answer my question. Look at the bulb for the bullet lights. Is there two filments in it or one? This will let me know where the two wires coming out of it go.
Mike

Answer
First, make sure your bulbs are good in the blinkers. If you have a bad bulb they wont flash. If the bulbs are good then you probably have a bad flasher modual.
Since you have a two filment bulb for you new lights then they should work with the brake lights as well as the running lights. The housing of the light is the neg.
Go back and check your wiring. You should have one wire attached to the wire going to the brake light wire and the other going to the running light wire. The best place the attach them is under the seat, right before they go into the fender.
Good luck and happy riding
Mike
