Motorcycle Repair: Sportster has no power, sportster 1200 custom, screaming eagle

I have a 2005 Sportster 1200 Custom with only about 700 miles on it.  It is stock except for the Screaming Eagle package.   While driving to work yesterday it died and lost all electrical power.  I pushed it home and put the battery on the charger overnight.  This morning I put the battery back in, turned it on and it had power.  When I hit the start button, it lost all power again.  Any ideas what to look for next?

What your going to have to do is start tracing wires. You have a short or a loose connection somewhere.
Get a test light and start at the battery. Check the connections at the battery and the ground strap to make sure they are tight. Follow the wires to the ignition switch checking all the connections until you find the problem.
