Motorcycle Repair: Ducati monster 600 year 97, ducati monster 600, blown fuse

I bought a ducati monster yesterday and it starting ok and this morning when iwent out to start it it was getting no spark.What could be the problem?

It sounds like you could have either a short in the electrical system or a blown ignition fuse.

If you have power to everything else, then the short, bad component or blown fuse is in the ignition system.

Start by checking the ignition fuse, then check the ignition circuit for shorts (from power to plugs), then check the ignition coils to see if they are within specs.

Start with that and let me know what you find.
