Motorcycle Repair: Exhaust running cold on right side, side exhaust, time chris

Hi Chris
I have a 79 cb759f supersport, when i start it the right side exhaust runs cool to cold and the left side runs normal for a bike i guess. At one time it was back firing thorugh the right side, had the carbs cleaned and sync. wondering if you have any ideal , woudl love to be able to ride it again.

Hi Chris.

The pipe is cold because the cylinder on that pipe is not firing or not firing properly.

Check for shorts and/or bad components in that side of the ignition and let me know what you find.  Refer to the repair manual for testing specs (you did get a repair manual, I hope).
