hey i have a 1987 honda fourtrax 350 and i need to replace the starter i have already got the starter loose but i cant seem to get it out i was wondering if i needed to take anymore things off before the starter would come out if you could please help me with this i would very appreciate it maybe tell me how to get it to come out this is the first problem i have had with my fourwheeler

Hi Keith,

Disconnect the battery leads from the battery. Disconnect the starter motor lead. Remove the two bolts holding the starter motor. Pull up and out on the starter motor.

I recommend that you get a copy of the service manual. It will pay for itself with the first repair you perform. The manual has illustrated procedures for this and other repairs. There's important things to know about before working on your ATV.
