Motorcycle Repair: 1986 Aspencade, 1986 honda aspencade, turn signal switch

I just purchased a 1986 Honda Aspencade and the turn signals do not work.  I knew that they did not work when I bought it.

The emergency flashers work.  I looked at the turn signal switch today and it looks okay.  (No corrosion).

I checked all the bulbs with a ohm meter and they are good.

I am trying to find a wiring diagram for this bike.

Where is the flasher located?  Am I missing something?

Hi John.

All of the specs that you are looking for are in the repair manual.  Order one.

In the meantime, check under the false tank for the major electronic components.  The flasher should be either there or under the seat.

You may also want to check the wiring for shorts, just as a precaution.
