Motorcycle Repair: ZX10 2005, power commander, engine performance

Question
I just put a sports muffler on my ride ZX10 (2005) will this hurt the motor given I have not fitted a power commander of racing filter on? I don't want to hurt my new toy.

Hi Dave,

I doubt the new pipe will harm the engine. I suspect it will de-tune engine performance a bit.

Monitor spark plug conditions to know the effects of the new pipe. Tune ignition and intake to correct performance lags.
