Motorcycle Repair: SYNTHETIC MOTOR OIL, synthetic motor oil, oil worth

IS SYTHETIC MOTOR OIL WORTH THE EXTRA MONEY? DOES IT MAKE THE MOTOR LAST A LOT LONGER? DOES IT RUN BETTER? IS AMSOIL VERY GOOD? THANKS.

There has been an ongoing debate on synthetic verses conventional oil. The synthetic makers say that their oil makes the bike run cooler and the motor last longer. Both sides have done studies and they claim they both win! My opinion is its personal preference. I know riders who will only use synthetic as well as riders who will only use regular oil. Is it worth the cost? I am not sure. I have run regular oil in my bikes and probably always will.
Amsoil is a ver5y good oil to use if you are planning on going with synthetic. the synthetic does not add horsepower and will not make the bike run any different.
