Motorcycle Repair: GoldWing fuel filter, gold wing, fuel filter

How much trouble is it to change the fuel filter on a 1988 Gold Wing? I am mechanically inclined, would it be easy for me to do or should I take it to a shop. Also I have no idea where it's located. Could you point me in the right direction?

Hi Eddie,

Look in the compartment just in front of the seat.

You may need to remove the seat and faux tank side panels to access the filter.

Get a copy of the service manual and review the task. Decide if you can handle the task.
